This project was a 2022 collaboration with The Bearded Bowtie on the “X” Standing Desk / High Top. Bearded Bowtie brought the client’s core desk concept and requirement for power cord concealment, which also doubles as a high top for occasional entertaining in their office. I led the design development from there. My role included defining the “X” facet qty, arrangement and form, resolving structural and ergonomic details, CAD development, approval renderings, and 2D technical drawings for fabrication. Bearded Bowtie handled all fabrication, finishing, live-edge slab, and on-site installation. The result is a custom standing desk that balances bold character with precise engineering and build-ready assets.
