The GuidePRO bandsaw guide represented a somewhat atypical development process for Mike/AETOR. By the time involvement began, inventor and Bow Products founder Keith Bow had already developed a working prototype that demonstrated the product’s core capability. Mike’s role focused on testing and evaluating the prototype from functional, ergonomic, and manufacturing perspectives in preparation for production.

The project centered on function validation, ergonomic development, industrial design direction, CAD engineering, DFM, and preparation for tooling kickoff. Final prototype assemblies were CAD-developed and iterated to improve usability, manufacturability, fit and finish, and visual integration within Bow Products’ early brand language.
